Job Description
Head, Financial market operations -directly responsible for treasury products delivery, support and treasury investigation functions. Ensures full compliance with treasury operations standards. Assist Head of WB Operations in implementing changes to internal standards /procedures in line with business development 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 
  • Authorise all Global Market transactions and ensures timely settlement of all deals. Manage relationship with internal customers to ensure excellent interfaces between sales, trading and operations.Provide high level of service quality, efficiency and productivity. Ensures strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 

Qualifications & Skills 
Experience/Knowledge required:
  • Degree plus 10 years banking experience
  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations and local FX regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of SCB’s policy and procedures 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Good analytical skills to interpret, resolve and change workflow and improve productivity
  • Ability to identify, analyze and manage operation risks
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Independent and innovative.
  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
