Job Description

 

Niger Insurance Plc, was established in August, 1962 as a Specialist Life Company under the name Yorkshire Insurance Company. The Management Team of the company is made up of well trained, highly skilled and competent professionals. The company has also put in place sound reinsurance treaties with first class Reinsurance Companies. We seek the service(s) of a Marketing Officers, who must be very smart, intelligent, result oriented and a good team player.

Responsibilities:

• Markets services to new and current clients.
• Compiles lists of prospective clients to provide leads for additional business.
• Contacts prospective clients and explains features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's circumstances, and utilizing persuasive marketing techniques.
• Calls on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to suggest additions or changes in insurance program, or to make changes in beneficiaries.
• Collect premiums from policyholders and keep record of payments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must possess a minimum qualification of OND or good first degree in any course or discipline.
• Must have between 1-3 years experience.
• Should be someone who exudes confidence, self-belief and highly motivated.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both in spoken and written English.
• Must have good persuasive/sales skill.
• Being able to drive would be an advantage.
• Must be very familiar with the Lagos Metropolis.
• Must be hard working and must be a person of proven integrity.
