Job Description

A non-governmental organization that seek to create a growing and sustainable sphere of influence by actively engaging social ills at their roots and by working with government, other NGOs, civil society organizations and corporate institutions to ensure the delivery of human security services at the greatest points of impact.


Responsibilities:
  • Receives invoices and requisitions from suppliers, vendors and staff, keys into system for payment 
  • Manages office petty cash.
  • Prints necessary accounting reports as needed
  • Raises checks to vendors on bank days
  • Generates check payment vouchers and cash distribution
  • Responsible for ensuring both donor and vendor accounts are reconciled
  • Prepares all in-flow payments/cheques received for deposit
  • Maintains contact with donors to collect cheques and monitor all outstanding pledges
  • Support the financial director in the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgeting & cash flow statements etc


Qualifications and Requirement:
  • BSC degree
  • Entry level
